Artwork Statement:
Our art series is about celebrating women’s sexual wellbeing and pleasure, through fun, vibrant and inviting colours. As women, we both think it’s important that more people are interested in women’s sexual pleasure and how it contributes to our wellbeing.

Instead of the art being dark and serious, we want to shine light on it. By making it fun, exciting, a feast of colours, and a confetti like celebration of pleasure, we hope more people take women's pleasure seriously!"

Each of the pieces have a concept of pleasure derived from solo exploration, pleasure within a couple, pleasure within a group of people, and pleasure in kink.

Artist bios:
Under her belt, Ariel Katzir has a diploma of fashion and textiles, and with that she explores the facets of beauty and challenges the view that the lines on one’s face do not fit traditional ideals of the construct. Instead, she maintains they are under-appreciated.
To evolve her work further Ariel has completed a diploma in transpersonal art therapy. Which she fuses both together in her practice.

Prior to her art path, Steph ‘Luvieur’ has been a portrait photographer (now for over 18 years). Her obsession with diversity and representation of people of colour in her photographs have also been adopted in her paintings. She continues to use her photography-trained eye to create an intimate perspective with people in her portrait and figure paintings, pick at beautiful complex colours in skin tones, and create soft and alluring compositions.

The two artists first met during 2020’s pandemic lockdowns, drawing and painting each other. Within a year, the two artists were already producing work together, creating in studio spaces, travelling for art research, and enjoying a good sunset by the beach.
This is the first official collaboration art series from the artists, called “Tickle Me Pink”, which is about celebrating women’s sexual wellbeing and pleasure through fun, vibrant and inviting colours.
